Our story

The Dawg House Kennels officially opened in 2019, and used to share a building with a stair company (Ascent Stairworks) in Emerald Park. In early 2019, Marty, who owns the stair shop, was talking to his office manager, Katie, about what they could do in one half of the building. Marty has a dog, Oliver, and Katie has lots of pets & used to work at a dog kennel, and had always wanted to open one…. and that’s when the idea for The Dawg House was born!

Since opening, we’ve added 4 levels of training classes, added a storefront, opened a full-service grooming room with 3 groomers, and expanded our daycare area & outside play areas. We feel so lucky to care for your furry friends, & thank you for making our dream an incredible reality!

Clean, safe, fun.

Our top priorities are the cleanliness of our facility, the safety of our clients & staff, and making sure your pup has the time of their life!
