Requirements
All dogs that attend daycare and/or boarding at The Dawg House Kennels must:
be fixed (if over 6 months old)
be up-to-date on all core vaccinations
attend a Trial Day, prior to any daycare/boarding stays
Why we’re different
We are a fully social kennel
Our daycare is structured so that the dogs are in small groups, based on size & temperament
The groups are on rotation throughout the day, so the dogs get rest time in a kennel, as well as play time and socializing in the large indoor & outdoor areas (as weather permits)
We are subscription-based, which allows us to have more controlled play groups as the majority of the dogs are the same from week to week
We have outdoor play areas, so the dogs can get fresh air & don’t get in the habit of going to the washroom inside
Our facility is thoroughly cleaned daily
We have 3 certified dog trainers on staff full-time, to assist our highly skilled kennel technicians with daycare operations
We have a Daycare Training Program available, for dogs who need 1:1 time with a trainer while at daycare
We work with a coach who specializes in helping dog facilities, and we are always striving to improve our processes & operations for the comfort and safety of the dogs & staff
